Primary Market
The primary market is where securities are created and sold for the first time. It's the market where coops issue new shares or bonds to raise capital directly from investors.
Secondary Market
The secondary market is where existing securities are traded among investors. It does not involve the issuing coops directly, as the transactions are between investors buying and selling already-issued securities.
